Understanding how the brain works and how learning occurs is likely something we didn’t learn in school or at least it's not something we can easily recall from our pre service experience. We all learn differently, so keeping ourselves up to date on learner characteristics, brain based best teaching practices will help teachers customize their classroom experience to better meet the needs of the diverse learners they serve. This session will expand participants' knowledge related to learning sciences and provide actionable strategies to shape the learning experiences they design.
