This session will provide a better understanding of why culturally responsive teaching is vital for all classrooms and how to take steps to create safe, justice-minded, and inclusive teaching practices and learning opportunities for all students. Participants will learn what culturally responsive and social justice pedagogy involves and should look like as well as why it is needed in every classroom regardless of school student demographics. Participants will be able to converse about strategies and resources to be more culturally responsive and social justice-minded within your classroom.
