There’s more knowledge in the world than our kids can ever possibly learn. And it is increasing every day. We are going to lose the battle to learn everything. But we can win a much bigger war of purpose and meaning in our schools. I have a vision for schools, and it doesn’t require millions of dollars in new funding -- though that would be nice. What if we focus on students learning empathy and collaboration, invention and reflection, communication, and compassion? What if we found a means to use makerspaces as social emotional learning spaces? We can take practical steps toward that very vision and this interactive keynote will show you how.
